This is a message from your younger self to never forget the joy of theater and performing. The way your heart beats on opening night, the shaky hands when you get the cast list, and the late nights that are tiring but so so rewarding. Never forget how it lifted a weight off your shoulders and gave you a place to laugh and cry and forget the world while making someone else's world a little better. Remember that theater taught you how to love and be loved by a community that goes through it all with you and try not to lose it. When you are down, and don't want to remember the hardships of life, remember theater. Go to a show, and let the life of the stage come back to you and relieve you the way it did before. Because what was once your home will always be your home, on stage or in the seats. There's a reason why we call the audiences place the house :) Know that no matter what happens, theater will guide you to a happy home where you can rest, at least for a little while.

Sincerely,

Jasmine
