I hope you remember the summer with our best friend; when we swam for hours until long after the sun set, and my face slightly stung from the sunburn. Sipping my first shirley temple while the warmth of the sunlight illuminated the water. Those sleepovers and late night chats, and the mornings dry from the chlorine. I hope you remember lying in bed gazing at the sky through the ceiling. This memory is a gentle reminder that life is not just about hardships; and the positive moments contribute to who we are today.
