Dear Basketball team.

One memory I hope will always stay with me is the night my team won our final basketball game of the season. The gym was loud, everyone was exhausted, and the score was close the entire time. When the final buzzer went off and we realized we had won, we all ran onto the court, celebrating together. It wasn’t just about the win, but about everything that led up to that moment, like the long practices, early mornings, and times we almost gave up. This memory matters to who I am today because it reminds me of the value of hard work and perseverance. It showed me that success doesn’t happen instantly, and that being part of a team means trusting others and pushing through challenges together. Whenever I face something difficult now, I think back to that moment and remember that effort and determination can lead to something meaningful.

Sincerely,

L
